Supporting the Longford Scouts
The Longford Scouts, a cornerstone of our community since 1908, provide invaluable opportunities for young people to learn, grow, and thrive. When we learned of their infrastructure challenges, including a leaking roof and other critical repairs, we knew we could lend a hand through our Recycle and Reward initiative. By recycling old uPVC windows and donating the proceeds back into the community, we not only reduce landfill waste but also directly contribute to local projects like the Scouts' refurbishment efforts.
Through window recycling in Manchester, we've raised over £30,000 for various local causes and community projects. For the Longford Scouts, our donation is a step towards creating a safer and more inspiring space for nearly 300 young individuals who benefit from their activities. This collaboration underscores our belief in nurturing the potential of our youth and enhancing community cohesion through tangible actions.
