We're a firm believer in giving back to the community, and that's why we created our Recycle and Reward programme. It's a chance for us to combine our commitment to sustainability with supporting the places and causes that matter most to Manchester, Cheshire, like giving help for Manchester parks and projects.
Recently, we had the pleasure of contributing to the amazing work of the Friends of Stamford Park in Altrincham. These dedicated volunteers are on a mission to improve the park's play areas. Their vision? To create safe and accessible spaces where all children can play, learn, and have fun.
The Friends of Stamford Park were aiming to raise a significant sum – £20,000 – to make their vision a reality. This ambitious project would involve revamping the play areas, ensuring they cater to a wide range of ages and abilities. We were struck by their commitment and the positive impact the improved play areas would have on the local community.
Recycle and Reward
Through Recycle and Reward, we were thrilled to donate £250 to their efforts. Here's how it works: every window we replace goes through a meticulous recycling process. The recovered materials, primarily uPVC, are then given a new lease on life and used to create new products. This not only benefits the environment by diverting waste from landfills but also allows us to contribute financially to worthy causes in Manchester, Cheshire, like the Friends of Stamford Park.
This is just one example of how our Recycle and Reward programme is making a positive difference in Manchester. We're always looking for ways to partner with local organisations doing fantastic work, and offer help for Manchester projects.
