Recently, we had the pleasure of working with the Friends of Walton Park. This fantastic group of volunteers dedicates their time to maintaining and improving Walton Park, a beloved green space in Sale. They caught our eye through their innovative fundraising efforts with Walton Perk, a cafe located next to the park. Walton Perk donates all their advertising revenue – a cool £110 a month – to the Friends of Walton Park, proving that even small businesses can make a big impact.
Inspired by this community spirit, we knew we had to help. Through our Recycle and Reward programme, we were able to donate £250 to the Friends of Walton Park. This programme works by collecting old upvc windows from our customers and recycling them responsibly. The recycled materials are then given a new lease on life, preventing them from ending up in landfills. But that's not all – for every project we complete, we divert a portion of the proceeds into a community fund. This fund is used to support worthy causes throughout Manchester, just like the Friends of Walton Park.
