At The Window Company, we're not just about installing and replacing windows in Manchester. We're passionate about protecting the environment and fostering a strong community spirit. That's where our innovative Recycle & Reward (Manchester window recycling) programme comes in.

Beyond windows

It's more than just transforming old uPVC windows into something new. It's about the impact this programme has on our local community, like Stretford. We've built a special connection with Stretford in Bloom, a dedicated volunteer group that works tirelessly to add greenery to our urban landscape. Through Recycle & Reward, we were honoured to donate £250 to support their incredible work.

Supporting Stretford in Bloom

This contribution, fuelled by a long-standing friendship with Mags Branney of Stretford in Bloom, goes towards enhancing the planters that brighten our town centre. Their mission to beautify public spaces aligns perfectly with our values. Since 2016, they've introduced over 50 planters, even transforming an overgrown plot near the library into a charming Rose Garden. It's a testament to the power of community and environmental care, values we deeply share.

Community & green values

Recycling uPVC is crucial. Traditionally, vast amounts end up in landfill sites. Our programme aims to change that. We see potential waste as an opportunity for renewal and connection. Recycle & Reward isn't just good for the environment; it strengthens the bonds between local businesses, homeowners, and organisations like Stretford in Bloom. We're all working towards a greener, more vibrant Manchester.

Recycle & Reward's Impact

This programme offers homeowners and small organisations a chance to be part of something bigger. It's about promoting environmental sustainability and community well-being. At The Window Company, we believe in collaboration and are proud to contribute to the vitality of our local area.

The impact of Recycle & Reward, especially alongside Stretford in Bloom, inspires us. It shows what we can achieve together. Mags Branney of Stretford In Bloom said, "We were delighted to receive a donation from a business in our local area. We're so grateful to receive your support, all the money will be used to buy plants for our planters around the town centre to help make Stretford more BLOOMIN' lovely."

So, how will you join us in making Manchester, and the world, a better place?
