A previous customer of ours in Sale approached us recently to convert their rear bay window into French doors and transform their current back door into a window.
We'd previously installed uPVC sliding sash windows to keep the original style and period look of the house and this job needed to follow the same brief.
This job involved a lot of planning and measuring before we could get everything manufactured as we needed to make certain that the stone cill could be dropped down and that any internal work was minimal.
We first propped the bay with acrow props to carry the weight of the roof and made the cut for the doors with an angle grinder. Then we removed the brickwork and internal blockwork and fitted the doors in position after bedding the existing stone cill.
We also removed the back door and bricked up with the same brick we removed from the bay window so that it all matched into the existing brickwork after the mortar dried out.
The results speak for themselves, you can see what a brilliant transformation has been achieved.
All the work was carried out by our team of highly experienced installers and as we don't use subcontractors this means they can work without rushing and produce perfect jobs like this.
