This was one of those jobs in which a lot of double glazing companies will shy away from because they don't have the products or fitters to be confident they can achieve what the customer had wanted or even worse a company that thinks they can & takes it on knowing that its out of their league.

Jobs like this one don't phase us, quite the opposite really, we see it as a challenge & a rewarding one at that. Most days are spent fitting the run of the mill windows that we can do with our eyes closed (we don't by the way) so when a job like this comes a long we get very excited.
So, what is the job??
The job was a 1900s Edwardian house in Sale, only one of three on the road. The windows were original sliding sash with stained glass in the tops & a stained glass Landing bay window which is just out of this world. None of the three houses had changed their windows as they thought there was nothing they could do other than put timber back & loose their original stained glass. Wrong!!
Step up Upvc, yes that's right, Upvc sliding sash windows they're 10 times more efficient than timber, half the price & as you can see look the same!!
What do we do with the stained glass? We take the original glass out, clean it up & repair any cracks then sandwich it between a double glazed unit making it triple glazed. This then gets put back into the new window creating the exact same look as before.
