We recently completed a job in South Manchester where we provided a full window upgrade, but these windows featured something a little different.
The property in question had original stained glass windows that added undeniable character to the premises. The client wanted to replace the windows with something more sturdy and efficient, but they also wanted to retain the stained glass features.
The job required our team to encapsulate the windows into a new uPVC frame including a Kommerling profile which was used to create as close an image to the original timber frames as possible. The new frames provide security and efficiency for the customer.

Encapsulating existing bay, stained glass windows in not an easy process and is not one that is undertaken without care and consideration.
