The last event for our WashRockRun fundraising campaign for chosen charity of 2015 The Alex Hulme Foundation and took place at The Window Company headquarters in Sale.
The event was the last in series of fundraising activities taken on by our team which including washing cars, running marathons and putting on a rock gig.
We kick started our fundraising back in February which was also a car was and was such a huge success we thought we'd finish with one too & this one was no different.
February's car wash was full of snow but this one was full of sunshine. Most of the team helped out except Steve and Paul who had no choice but to finish Mrs Davies windows "she wouldn't have taken no for an answer"!
We all had a good laugh and some good banter with the kind people that came down to support this great cause.
Donna aka "Mrs Window Co" came along with the mini Window Co's to help and even treated us all to a McDonalds!
So, how did it go...? Well we raised over £600 and are now currently only £160 off hitting £6000!
Our original target was £5000 so we are over the moon with how the car wash and the other events have gone and with any luck we may hit £6000 for The Alex Hulme Foundation before the month is out.
