September 13th 2016 marked the 10th anniversary of Wayne’s take-over of the Window Company…whoever would have thought that the boss kick-started his career here as a fresh-faced 16-year-old apprentice?
Young and Eager
While the ink was still drying on his final school exam paper, taken just one day earlier, Wayne began his apprenticeship at The Window Company. Alongside fellow company stalwart Dean, he picked up everything he needed to know about the business, and it didn’t take long for him to discover the reasons behind their continued growth and success: an honest and reliable team with the sole focus of producing nothing but the very best for the customer.

Wayne says,
“Back then there was just me, Dean, a couple of vans and a small shop. Fast forward 10 years and we now employ 13 people with 6 vehicles!”
That’s not all. As the business continues to grow, The Window Company have recently purchased a new ¼-acre site for their new HQ, which is currently in the planning and development stage; the next chapter of the story of becoming the best in their field.
I wonder who they’ll get in to supply and fit their doors and windows?
