The customer had got several quotations for their windows & doors which were the original 1920s units. They decided to choose us after we were the only company that encouraged them to keep the original leaded stained glass & encapsulate it into a double glazed unit & replace the internal timber surround with new timber victorian architrave keeping the exact look they had previous but with all the benefits a high A rated upvc window brings.
The other company's tried to talk the customer into not replacing the leads or re creating the timber-work, the main reason for this is simple, they probably weren't competent enough to do it or probably couldn't be bothered.
We believe over all else in doing what looks best rather than what is the easiest.
